Venturing Officer's Association Accepting Applications

Applications are taken for all Venturing Officer’s Association positions including President, Vice-President’s, and Committee Members. Please encourage those who should be considered to represent Venturing in the Lincoln Heritage Council to apply for the association. If you would like to be considered for any position, please submit an Venturing Officer Application.

  • Applications for VOA President must be received by April 23rd, 2012. (April VOA Meeting)
  • Applications for all other positions (Vice-Presidents and Committee Members) are due by May 18, 2012.

The Venturing Officer’s Association (VOA) is a forum for Venturing crew youth officers to learn from and share with other Venturing crews in the council with the help of advisors from the council level.  Though it is designed to help the officers of each Venturing crew, anyone can attend.  It is encouraged that two officers from each crew attend these meetings, and those two from each crew will be voting members at the meetings.  All new ideas and input are welcome and encouraged.  The VOA meets monthly, and meetings are normally held at the Council office (though the location may change)  Please come and learn more about Venturing!
