Unit Fundraisers

Unit fund-raising projects play an important role in enabling units to obtain new equipment, go on camping trips, and participate in other activities and events. More important, the way a unit earns money is of great importance in the education of youth members in basic values. The Lincoln Heritage Council annualy offers the following two fundraisers:

Popcorn Sale

The annual popcorn sale provides a great opportunity for money earning projects, and is the one of two fundraisers approved by our council's Executive Board. This means it is a fundraiser where your Scouts can wear their Scout uniform while selling/participating. You do not need to fill out a unit money earning application to participate in the popcorn sale. Camp Card Sale

Each year hundreds of Scouts earn their way to Summer Camp, Day Camp or Resident Camp through our council Camp Card Sale. The discount card sells for $5.00 and units keep 50% of each card they sell. The sale begins at the first roundtable of March and ends in late May.

Unit Money Earning Guidelines

If your unit opts for additional alternative fund raising projects, you will want to understand the BSA's money earning guidelines.
