Bass Pro Shop Partners with Boy Scouts of America

Bass Pro Shop will offer merit badge classes and accept in-store donations to the BSA and local council.

The Boy Scouts of America and Bass Pro Shops form a new partnership that will not only benefit the advancement program but will generate more revenue for the Boy Scouts of America and local councils.

Throughout the month of June, Bass Pro Shop in Clarksville, Indiana will offer shoppers the opportunity to make an in-store donation to the Boy Scouts of America and the Lincoln Heritage Council. Supporting the Scouting movement has never been so easy! Customers can purchase a $2 or $5 donation for the BSA at check out! Half the proceeds go to the BSA the other half support the programs of the Lincoln Heritage Council.

The Clarksville Indiana Bass Pro Shop will also offer merit badge workshops at no cost beginning in June! Bass Pro Shop has registered several sales associates as Fishing and Rifle Shooting Merit Badge Counselors. Starting Saturday, June 5th your Boy Scouts can start working on Rifle Shooting and Fishing Merit Badges right at a Bass Pro Shop near you! Boy Scouts must pre-register and class size is limited to 10 Scouts per session. To register call the Bass Pro shop at 812-218-5500 (class schedule listed below).

Scouts working on the Rifle Shooting Merit Badge will use the air rifle option, and while Scouts may not be able to finish these merit badges, these workshops will help them complete the merit badge while at summer camp this summer.
