Training and information regarding Cub Scout School Night 2010.

Cub Packs and Cub Scout Leaders,
It's summertime and time for our Summer Camps, Vacations, BBQ's and for talking about Fall Recruitment!?!? Yeah, it's hard to believe that we would like to begin thinking about the Fall before we have enjoyed the summer - but you know the motto "Be Prepared!"
This time of the year is crucial not only for our various Summer Camping programs and making sure we deliver the promise to all of our Scouts of an outdoor adventure, but it is even more important that we begin the planning and implementation of our Fall Recruiting Plans.
WE NEED YOUR PACK'S LEADERSHIP AND SUPPORT MORE THAN EVER TO GIVE THE OPPRTUNITY FOR EVERY YOUTH TO JOIN SCOUTING THIS FALL!!!
Here is what your Pack NEEDS TO DO to support our Fall Roundup efforts and to help in the planning and implementation of our BIGGEST and BEST School Night effort ever - although thanks to many of you last year will be hard to beat - but we are up to the challenge!!
Your Pack's priorities/responsibilities concerning School Night right now:
- Review the Cub Scout School Night Chair Job Description. Can be viewed here.
- Review/Follow the Cub Scout Pack School Night Timeline. Can be viewed here.
- Recruit a Cub Scout Pack School Night Chair and team members for your pack immediately
- You will be contacted by your District School Night Chair in the upcoming weeks - so please give your Cub Scout Pack School Night Chair's name, phone, and e-mail to your District Executive or the School Night Chair once recruited (this will allow us to keep your Pack informed and send much needed reminders regarding our recruitment plans and efforts for the fall).
- Make sure that your Pack's School Night Chair and Team attend one of the School Night Trainings utilizing the online sign up form here or this registration flyer.
School Night Training(s) Scheduled:

July 22nd 7:00PM First Presbyterian Church (1016 Pear Orchard Road, Elizabethtown, KY)
At these workshops, your Cub Scout Pack will learn strategies for promoting, conducting, and following up on your most effect School Night ever.
Most importantly we will give you ideas and support on how to recruit ADULT LEADERS!!! It's one thing to get parents to sign their child up for Cub Scouts - but how great would it be for your Pack to get resources and the tools to recruit more parents than ever to become adult leaders.
At the School Night workshop, your Pack will also be given the neccessary materials for conducting your School Night!!
You can have the largest recruiting event ever, but it starts with your Cub Scout Pack recruiting a solid School Night Coordinator please do not pass up on these fun informative opportunities for your Pack to learn how to recruit more Cub Scouts than ever before!!
For more information on School Night 2010 and to sign up for our School Night Trainings please visit our council's website at www.lhcbsa.org or contact your District Executive at (502) 361-2624.
Thank you in advance for your leadership and support in getting more youth involved with Scouting!
