Women of Wonder (W.O.W.)
Purpose
An all female weekend retreat to learn outdoor skills and helpful hints from seasoned leaders along with lots of games, laughter and fun. WOW is a weekend training and skill development experience for women involved in scouting programs. The goal is to provide a comfortable setting for women to learn scout skills, develop in their scouting role and learn about the scouting resources available to them, plus fellowship and learn from other scouting women. We have a 3-year program focus rotation with the 2012 focus on Fire Building & Fire Safety, Outdoor Cooking and Planning Outdoor events. In addition, the Low Ropes course has been reserved for us to have a little fun!!
Attendees
Female leaders involved with Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venture and American Heritage Girls. Leaders must be at least 21 years old. No children are allowed.
