Driving Directions

The Harry S. Frazier, Jr. Scout Reservation is located next to Bernheim Forest near Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Take Interstate 65 South from Louisville. You will come to State Hwy. 245 at exit 112 (Clermont, Bardstown). Turn left on Hwy. 245 (southbound) and proceed approximately 3/4 mile. Turn right onto Plen Mar Drive, which goes through Meadow Peak Subdivision. Turn left onto Terry Drive. The road ends at the parking lot in front of the Kentucky Colonels Administration Lodge.


Time and Fee Agreement

As listed, rates are for a 24-hour period, except as indicated. Refunds on fees will be made on the cancellation of campsite reservation, equipment or facility, provided notice is give the Council Service Center 7 days in advance. Reservations should be in the Scout Service Center 7 days prior to the event. Please contact the Business Manager at the Council Service center (502-361-2624) for more information or to book a reservation. "The Rules and Regulations for Use of Facilities and Equipment" is available for review online.

FRAZIER DINING HALL:  Capacity for eating is 400.  Can be heated for winter use, but doesn't have air conditioning.  Men's and women's restrooms.  Speaker system available. In order to use kitchen, someone in group must have experience on use of kitchen equipment.  Arrangements of tables and chairs is the responsibility of meeting groups and must be put back in the order in which they were found.  (Back to Price List)

STEINBOCK NATURE LODGE:  Capacity is 20 people when used for winter camping.  Has fireplace for heat and electrical outlets.  (Back to Price List)

CUB WORLD SHELTER:  Capacity is 30.  The shelter has electrical outlets and 2 storage rooms.  (Back to Price List)

SALES PROGRAM SHELTER:  Capacity is 30 for winter camping.   Has removable walls, a fireplace and electrical outlets.  (Back to Price List)

KENTUCKY COLONELS ADMINISTRATION LODGE:  Only leader's lounge of the lodge is available.  Not available for overnight sleeping.  Has a small kitchen and men's and women's restrooms.  Capacity is 60 for eating.  (Back to Price List)

2 CAMP SHOWERS AND CUB WORLD SHOWER:  Leaders side and separate youth side each has 6 shower heads, with one for handicapped visitors, four sinks and no heat.  Winterized November 1 - March 15.  (Back to Price List)

RIFLE RANGE:  Ten shooting positions.  See rules and regulations #11. .22 caliber rifles are available.  Unit or group must furnish targets and ammunition.  Cleaning of rifles is the responsibility of meeting groups.   (Back to Price List)

CAMPOREE AREA:  Available for district camporees, troop overnight or weekend campouts, Cub Scout events, district training and events.  Four washstands/latrines available, one shelter (No electricity).  Out of council and non Scout groups pay $2.00 per person.  (Back to Price List)

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT CENTER:  Available for Council and district training events and meetings.  Capacity is 80 for eating.  Has a small kitchen, men's and women's restrooms with shower, 2 small classrooms, heat and air conditioning.  (Back to Price List)
