  • Troop 8481 which meets on Thursdays at First Baptist Church in Shepherdsville is our Iroquois District Unit Spotlight for this week.
  • Troop 8481 is always doing amazing things said Jen Grieser one of the troops Adult leaders. In particular the troop recently hosted a Pinewood Derby Race for Troop 10 which is chartered at the School for the Blind. This was the second year Troop 8481 hosted the event, as well as only the second time Troop 10 has had a Pinewood Derby Race.   The event was also featured on Wave 3 on April 11.   Troop 8481 will also be taking Troop 10 on a camping trip with them in a few weeks.   Way to live the scout spirit and do your good turn.
  • If your unit would like to be featured, please submit any service projects, events that your Unit is or will be working on, outstanding achievements of your unit or an individual Scout.  Any adult or youth leader in the unit can submit your unit. To do so complete the LHC Iroquois District Unit Spotlight Form linked in this post. Or email your submission to or
